The body just does not work like it used to. No losing weight these day due to everyday factors like time. My workout at the gym hit a snag last week. I did not get the exercise I needed. With the children in school and after school activities, time to workout has suffered. Work has also not helped as well. The biggest problem is still the food intake is greater then the calories expelled. Standard update on the weight loss trek

The cold weather is still taking a toll on the weight lose campaign. Of course the gym is heated and indoors so maybe that is not a good excuse for the weight lose or lack there of. How about taking a toll on my golf game … that’s it. I have not been out to the range or course for a while but that will hopefully change soon as the weather warms up.
I have been more consistent in my gym time but not enough to be worth while. Still need to consistently get to the gym 5 days a week. I am currently working on reducing my calorie intake as well. Trying to burn more calories then I take in each day. Not as easy and is sounds, especially with the children and all the activities that includes. I also need to schedule my time at the gym and, I think, the type of workout I do each visit. Getting so I can’t remember the weight and reps I do on each machine.

Update to the blog theme and some other stuff

Well .. I got tired of the old “connections” theme on the blog and decided on this new one (Cutline by Chris Pearson) for the moment. The old theme did not support the widget function and I wanted to try that out for several plugins. The classic header picture does not exactly fit in the space the Cutline theme images take up but I figured it was to classic a shot to remove. The “guys” would miss them anyway since they are reminders of what was. I also don’t have the originals to re-edit. I will work on that or decide to find a different set of pictures.

It has been a while and 10 lbs since my last update

The cold weather is taking a toll on the weight lose campaign and of
course the advent of the year end holidays never helps. I was out
yesterday, after spending some time in the gym (really), trying to get
my golf game back in line. I was saved from further mishap on the
driving range by a phone call so I had to leave.
I have made some updates to the blog on the back end so I hope to
provide more frequent updates in the future. Until then?
